About the Ivory Tower Screening
The Michelson 20 Million Minds Foundation (20MM) is pleased to invite students and parents to a free special screening of Ivory Tower on June 16th, 6:00 PM at the Crest Theater in downtown Sacramento. The film focuses on issues of higher education affordability in light of rapidly rising tuition and national student debt, now surpassing $1.2 trillion.
The screening will be followed by an informative and lively discussion with director Andrew Rossi and others working on higher education affordability. Your commitment to ensuring bright futures for our youth is admirable and it would be a great pleasure to have you in attendance.
To help demystify the college application and financial aid process, we are hosting a financial literacy workshop prior to the film, beginning at 4:30 PM.

About the Michelson 20MM Foundation
The 20MM Foundation supports and invests in leading edge entrepreneurs, technologies, and initiatives with the potential to improve postsecondary access, affordability, and efficacy. 20MM was created thanks to the generous support of renowned spinal surgeon Dr. Gary K. Michelson and his wife, Alya Michelson.
The foundation’s focus in higher education is to lower barriers by reducing costs, streamline the process of applying to programs and reduce the limitations based on geography. We seek to remove systemic, financial, and practical barriers to increase the number of students with higher education degrees..
