As California continues to debate the role of online in higher education several stakeholders have weighed in: faculty, unions, system-wide leaders, policy makers, and education innovators. However, largely missing in this discussion has been the perspective of the student body, the direct beneficiaries in the delivery of education by our colleges and universities. As a result,  The 20 Million Minds Foundation by Dr. Gary Michelson is organizing a student-centered summit to hear the opinions and solicit the reactions of students.

The summit will bring together working adults, graduate students, undergraduate students, and students in fully online programs to examine the role of online in higher education and create student driven solutions around online education.
