As funders and advocates, The Michelson 20MM Foundation and our funder partners have become acutely aware of the breadth and depth of digital equity needs. Brought to light for some by the pandemic, digital inequities have far-reaching impacts on the success of the efforts we support in education, housing, healthcare, criminal justice, workforce development, civic engagement, and more. 

Join us for a funder’s panel and group discussion on April 4th as we explore the strategies philanthropic organizations are employing to fund digital equity efforts. The overarching goal of our efforts is to pursue lasting systems change that leverages both the opportunities and challenges ahead. 

Housed at Michelson 20MM, the Digital Equity Pooled Fund is a collaboration between multiple funders that are focused on advancing digital equity in California. Aiming to place equity at the forefront of how broadband infrastructure dollars are spent in California, the fund ensures digital equity advocates, local leaders, and communities most affected by the digital divide can make their voices heard in critical regulatory processes at the state and federal levels.
