The Michelson 20MM Foundation is excited to welcome Amy Rodriguez as the newest addition to our Marketing and Communications team. Joining us as a Marketing and Communications Intern, Amy brings a fresh perspective through the lens of an experienced project manager. In her role, Amy will raise awareness of Michelson 20MM, helping us reach new audiences while strengthening our commitment to the existing community.

Prior to joining Michelson 20MM, Amy gained valuable experience in the technology industry as a Program Manager. Her experience includes playing a key role in supporting cross-functional teams, overseeing go-to-market strategies, task management, and release timelines. Amy’s experience managing critical stages of projects and strategic insights will help amplify our initiatives to create a lasting impact.

As the first in her family to attend a four-year university and obtain a bachelor’s degree, Amy has a personal understanding of the barriers that underserved communities face as they access higher education. This perspective fuels her passion for advancing Michelson 20MM’s mission to promote equity and opportunity. She is eager to support programs that focus on open educational resources, intellectual property, digital equity, student basic needs, and smart justice.

Through her role, Amy will create content that resonates across diverse audiences and unifies our brand’s voice. She’ll translate Michelson 20MM’s mission into compelling stories and informative content that inspires action. We look forward to seeing Amy Rodriguez’s positive impact as she brings her innovative ideas, commitment to social change, and enthusiasm for learning to the organization.

Michelson 20MM is a private, nonprofit foundation working toward equity for underserved and historically underrepresented communities by expanding access to educational and employment opportunities, increasing affordability of educational programs, and ensuring the necessary supports are in place for individuals to thrive. To do so, we work in the following verticals: Digital Equity, Intellectual Property, Smart Justice, Student Basic Needs, and Open Educational Resources (OER). Co-chaired and funded by Alya and Gary Michelson, Michelson 20MM is part of the Michelson Philanthropies network of foundations.
